Welcome to the new PGA scholarship blog! In an effort to reach more students and their families, many scholarships that come across our desk can now be located on this site. Kasper-Whelan Educational Scholarship (County Local) - posted 3/3
This fund was established to provide scholarships up to $1,500 per person for any person/student pursuing education after high school that is a Schuylkill County resident with a family income limit under $250,000.00. The number of scholarships awarded will vary each year.
The Scholarships are awarded by a lottery drawing. The application must be on a 5” x 8” stock card, which is the responsibility of the applicant to provide. There are specific qualifications and submission requirements that have been outlined on the guideline sheet that is below.
The lottery drawing will be on Thursday, July 16, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
